Assistant Cook (part-time)

CCP is looking for an assistant cook who will work closely with the Cantina Team preparing and delivering lunch 4x pr. week and a dinner 1x per week for our ambitious and talented group of 250 employees. Assistant Cook works under direct supervision of the head chef; assist in the preparation and serving of food in a cafeteria; maintain food service facilities and equipment in a sanitary condition; and do related work as required.
Your tasks:
- Washes pots, pans, dishes, and utensils.
- Prepares vegetables, fruits, salads, and foods for cooking.
- Cleans work area and disposes of refuse.
- Assists in the kitchen as directed.
Your profile:
- Experience in quantity food preparation and kitchen maintenance.
- Knowledge of sanitation requirements in food preparation and storage.
- Knowledge of methods of preparing, cooking, and serving food.
- Knowledge of the uses of kitchen utensils and equipment and the operation thereof.
- Ability to work under direct supervision and cooperate with other staff personnel.
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
- Ability to assist in the preparation of various foods.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
- Solid time management skills.
- Strong communication skills.

This is a 50% job ratio position, working hours approx. 10-14 on Monday – Wednesday, 11:00 – 19:00 on Thursdays. Friday´s are the day off.
