Art Producer

Art ProducerTrailmix is looking for an art producer here in London to help grow, enable, organise and champion the experienced art team on our award winning game Love & Pies.

We’re looking for someone who is eager to work in an incredibly talented, agile and lean team, working closely with design, dev and other functions on the Love & Pies team. We’re after someone who understands the constraints of mobile F2P and has great knowledge of the art process and tools to help inform decisions.

As an art producer you will be responsible for helping grow our inhouse art team located here in central London. You’ll also drive and maintain outsourcers and develop production pipelines to allow us to build assets quickly, work with outsource teams and artists to drastically increase the output and efficiency of all our artwork in Love & Pies

Responsibilities

• Act as a bridge between Art, Product & Marketing teams to devise art production plans that align with game and growth strategies.

• Work closely with the production team to define the work and schedules of both internal and external art teams on Love & Pies
• Create and improve documentation and processes for art at Trailmix, helping all artists to work more efficiently and maintain the visual quality bar of the game
• Create visible art trackers and status reports for other discipline leads whose work is dependent or facilitated by the art team's activity.
• Facilitate the clear direction and feedback processes with outsource teams, helping to establish and grow a tight knit relationship, ensuring art is delivered on time and to a high quality
• Help the art team grow professionally, enabling artists to step up into greater responsibilities
• Help with hiring for the art team as it grows, including identifying role opportunities and needs, creating role descriptions, interviewing and onboarding
• Motivate and provide support to the art team, schedule events, onboarding, training and the improvements to existing processes.

Requirements

• Experience working within a F2P/live game environment, demonstrating understanding of technical and time constraints and typical art production processes
• Proven ability to work end-to-end with outsource agencies and contractors, from setup to implementation and beyond
• Experience working in an agile development environment
• A strong understanding of a variety of art skills with the ability to confidently communicate with an experienced art team, such as Spine, 2D assets, unity animations/particles, Maya 3D, UI/UX, character design, concepts.
• Worked with Unity based teams, and familiar with unitys technical constraints/considerations
• 3+ years as a producer or manager, or equivalent experience.

Location

Trailmix is currently operating under a hybrid work model - we have 3 days a week (Monday, Thursday & Friday) in person at our brand new studio in Kings X with the remaining 2 days available to work from home.
