SUMMARY OF POSITION
Pixelberry Studios is looking for an Art Producer to assist the team in creating content for Choices: Stories You Play.
With frequent releases to coordinate across several interactive books, the Art Producer should feel comfortable working in a fast-paced & creatively-driven environment. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, demonstrate clear understanding of the game development pipeline, can manage internal development requests and team members, foresee future needs, and develop art asset pipelines to scale, with a keen eye for artistic details.
Currently, all Pixelberry staff are working remotely. Hybrid work model (1 day/week in-office) will be in place once we resume on-site operations, currently scheduled for January 2022. 100% remote option will be available/reviewed on a case-by-case basis only.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work with the Art Director, Artists, and Writing teams to manage art production for projects from start to finish
- Handle art pipeline and identify/solve workflow issues
- Manage art production schedule through tools like Google Suite, Asana, etc.
- Coordinate with internal/external art teams to ensure timely production and delivery of all assets
- Act as a point of contact between Art and Writing teams to gather art feedback
- Ensure art quality and style is consistent with established art through all feedback stages
- Independently own budgets and external vendor relationships, craft and inform SOW’s
- Mitigate conflicts and solve problems
- Create processes, guidelines, and templates which help the Art and Art Production teams improve efficiency and quality of work
REQUIREMENTS
- 2 + years of experience managing creative production in games or similar
- Organized, forward thinking, self-motivated, hard-working, with a strong sense of accountability
- Excellent communication skills; ability to collaborate and resolve conflicts among teams
- Experience driving production process and shipping multiple projects
- Understanding of game development and the art-creation process
- A good eye for art, and ability to effectively communicate with art terminology
- Experience managing external vendors
- Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop
- Familiarity with production toolsets (e.g. Google suite, Jira, Asana, etc)
