Position Summary

Crystal Dynamics is looking for an Art Producer to join our team! This is an exciting position that focuses on ensuring that the quality and integrity of our character art meets or exceeds the vision we have for our products. You will use your exceptional project management and communication skills while working closely with the Art Director, cross departmental Leads and other discipline focused Producers to keep all moving pieces on time, quality and budget for your area of expertise. A background in art is preferred, and previous experience as a producer is a must for this opportunity.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Act as the main point of contact for character art creation across a multi-disciplinary group of individuals
• Run daily standups and weekly planning
• Collaborate with Art Director, leads and discipline producers to understand, communicate and schedule cross-discipline character art deliverables
• Coordinate and track the character art team to ensure that project goals and tasks are completed on time to quality
• Track feedback on all assets throughout the stages of production, verify standards and communicate readiness
• Help settle project-related conflicts and disputes, and remain proactive in problem solving
• Message risks early and often to help head off any upcoming issues preemptively
• Maintain approvals with IP holders

Skills and Abilities

• Strong understanding of the game production process and development cycle
• Ability to solve complex problems efficiently and at times autonomously
• Strong time management skills with a proven ability to focus on prioritization, being able to juggle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Ability to work cooperatively with artists, programmers, designers and IP holders
• Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of an organization on a broad range of topics: technical, business and creative
• Experience with both waterfall and agile development tools and methodology

Essential Requirements

• 3+ years Project Management/Production experience in art and video game development
• Experience managing art departments (modeling, VFX, animation, rigging, etc)
• Experience with Jira, Shotgun/Shotgrid or equivalent tracking software
• Shipped a minimum of 2 video game titles
• Proven AAA console development experience (Xbox One, PS4)
