Art Outsource Manager

We are looking for a proactive, highly motivated and production-focused Art Outsource Manager.
Successful applicants must have experience in managing the production of Art for console titles and have a broad understanding of contemporary processes, pipelines and engine technology.
Within this role you will be:
- Responsible for managing the production and delivery of all externally produced art and animation on our titles
- Ensure the externally produced art and animation aligns with art direction and quality standards
- Helping to create and manage project schedules
- Developing best practices for the art teams, critiquing problematic assets and workflows
- Defining the scope and terms of engagements with external teams
- A day-to-day point of contact for external teams
- Communicating clearly, in all directions
- Facilitating collaboration with external and internal teams
- Organising and managing Art documentation
While the focus of the roles is external teams, at times the role may entail supporting the management of internal art and animation teams
We need you to have:
- Experience of managing an art team through the complete lifecycle of console game development
- The ability to organise and supervise creative teams to accomplish their assignments
- An ability to direct a team to follow art direction and quality standards
- Scheduling, budgeting and outsourcing experience
- Strong knowledge of 3D pipelines and asset management
- Good verbal, visual and written communication skills
Our titles include the ground-breaking Dear Esther (2012), cult horror Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs (2013), the VR fairy-tale So Let Us Melt (2017) and the open-world adventure Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture (2015), a PlayStation 4 exclusive that won major awards across the world. Gatwick Airport is only half an hour away from train, and you can be in central London in just over an hour. It’s an easy place to love!
