What is this job all about?
We are currently looking for an Art Manager to join the TSG team of highly experienced and talented people in our headquarters in Wroclaw. This professional will help our company to improve Art across our games.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Art Manager who is looking for an independent role, someone who loves working with people and mentoring teams, someone who is passionate about creating a consistent visual style and identification for projects, and who wants to have a real impact on the further development of an ambitious studio.
What will be your responsibilities?
- Creating artistic visions for existing and upcoming projects.
- Working with the product team to understand project needs and help them reach their goals.
- Mentoring and collaborating with the team (leaders, artists, developers etc.).
- Analyzing the market and competitors. Collecting data and using it in daily work.
- Analyzing and verifying games from the art perspective and proposing improvements that positively affect the value of the products.
- Reviewing processes related to content creation on a particular product and later on a company-wide level.
- Maintaining a long-term view of the Art Team’s project needs and providing solutions for resourcing.
- Managing and supporting the Art Director and Art Leads to ensure that Art quality is maintained and improved.
- Reviewing, directing, and providing positive, constructive feedback and creative leadership to identify and resolve any issues related to art production.
- Optimizing the existing pipeline and encouraging asset exchange and reuse among projects.
What do we require?
- Proven track record of success in art vision creation for several titles that went live.
- Excellent artistic skills and knowledge (composition, light, color, etc.).
- Experience in art team management.
- Extensive knowledge of character, object, environment, animation, lighting, VFX, and other asset creation, ability to direct asset creation to optimize them to support gameplay, style, and narrative principles.
- Proven experience in driving and supporting artists across multiple art disciplines and workflows.
- Examples of preview production workflows and asset tracking that you have developed and implemented.
- Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written English.
Nice to have:- Knowledge of the Unity engine, rendering pipelines, and asset optimization.
