Animation Intern

We need you to help us bring in-game character performance to the next level.
As an Animation Intern you will be involved in various aspects of production from the initial concept of character movement and technical considerations of implementation to collaboration with other art teams and the creation of final animation. You will participate in the effort to concept and finalize spectacular hand-keyed in-game and cinematic animation for a variety of characters, both human and creature. You will support the animation teams goals of efficient and aesthetic completion of tasks as well as participating in critique towards animation and the overall creative process.
This position is available for full-time remote work in CA, FL, IL, NC, TX, and WA.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create quality motion capture and key-frame animations
- Work on asset creation tasks assigned to you by Animation Lead and Cinematic Director meeting deadlines as necessary
- Work with the Animation Team and the Lead to help set the quality bar for asset creation
- Ability and willingness to follow direction
- Collaborate productively with others
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Effective communication skills, and the ability to work well in a team environment
- Dedication and desire to create great games
- Knowledge of Maya
- Understanding of Motion Capture and hand keyed techniques
- An understanding of human anatomy
