We are looking for an Analytics Lead - Gaming (f/m/x) to work with and develop our horizontal team of game analysts. You will shape and aid the data-driven decision-making of the various teams at Bytro by connecting data analytics skills with your proactive style of communication. Your team’s analyses will allow you to recommend courses of action which reveal new relationships and contribute directly to the company's success.
You will also have the chance to directly shape our analytics stack by developing ETL and data integration pipelines and unify and improve our tracking infrastructure.
Your responsibilities include:
- Lead and develop a passionate team of Game Analysts to support data-driven game development.
- Devise and implement strategic roadmaps for our analytics tech stack and business intelligence initiatives.
- Apply insight-generating tactics to develop a data-first culture in game development and marketing.
- Drive innovation by researching and implementing state-of-the-art data science methodologies to solve complex challenges, like churn prediction or revenue forecasting.
- Identify opportunities for improving our live games and performance marketing.
- Shape and maintain ETL and data integration pipelines.
- Streamline the examination and evaluation of player behaviour from tracking to data modelling and dashboarding.
- Supervise and support the planning, execution and evaluation of AB tests and longitudinal studies including statistical and graphical analysis.
Your profile
- You have several years of well funded professional experience, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role with product ownership and team lead responsibilities.
- You are experienced in game analytics and have an understanding of free-to-play monetization models and our genre.
- You have a good grasp of tools of the trade, e.g. SQL, descriptive and inferential statistics, programmatic data wrangling (e.g. with Python).
- You possess proficiency in machine learning algorithms, data mining, and statistical modelling techniques, with hands-on experience in applying these methods to real-world gaming data.
- You have a passion for building and scaling up high-performance teams, with a deep understanding of game analytics, business intelligence, and data engineering.
- You are able to work and communicate effectively and to explain complex matters on eye-level and in a concise way to various departments in the company from Marketing to Live Ops, and Game Design to Development.
- You are able and willing to roll up your sleeves and get your hands dirty if needed.
- Fluent in English, with strong communication and leadership abilities.
