Ingress や Pokémon GO を開発している Niantic では、Unity 3D の経験が豊富なテクニカルアーティストを募集しています。位置情報を利用したリアルワールドゲームを、デザイナーやエンジニアと協力しながら開発していただきます。
職務内容
- モバイル向けに最適化された 3D モデルの制作
- キャラクターやオブジェクトのデザイン、3D モデルの制作
- キャラクターやオブジェクトのアニメーションの制作
- コンセプトアート向けのハイクオリティモデルの制作、レンダリング
望ましい能力・経験
- Maya などの 3DCG ソフトウェアを用いてのモデル制作を中心とした実務経験
- キャラクターのデザイン・モデルの制作
- アニメーション制作フローに必要な技術のいずれかに精通（リギング、フェイシャル、ダイナミクス、ステートマシンなど）
- さまざまな演技内容やアニメーションスタイルの提案
- 絵の素養を持っていて、デッサンやデザインの経験が豊富
- アートやデザイン関連の学士・修士を持っている、もしくは同等の経験がある
- 英語の読み書きができる

Niantic Labs, creator of Ingress and Pokémon GO, seeks a 3D Artist to help build a wide array of art assets for use in our creative projects. Niantic is a fast-moving, multi-disciplinary team of software developers and creative professionals based in San Francisco, Seattle and Tokyo. You will have 3D generalist responsibilities including 3D modeling and rendering, using Maya, Unity, and other computer graphics tools to help merge the virtual with the real world. .
Responsibilities
- You will craft mobile-device optimized low-poly 3D models for production use.
- You will design characters, objects and build 3D models for them.
- You will animate 3D characters and objects.
- You will craft high resolution 3D models for concept art, or for use in marketing campaigns.
Qualifications
- You possess 3D generalist skill set, including modeling and rendering.
- You have expert-level experience with Maya.
- You hold a deep understanding of rendering and lighting concepts.
- You have solid artistic skills (drawing or digital painting).
Plus If...
- You have experience with Unity 3D.
- You have a minimum of 3 years of experience.
