2D Artist - UI

We are looking for a 2D Artist who can create beautiful, compelling content art for use in the UI and across all of our products including games, mobile first applications, and marketing materials. In this role, you will create visually engaging icons and illustrations with consideration for style consistency, accessibility at various sizes, and dynamic composition. The ideal candidate should have a strong portfolio representing both artistry and functionality. Applicants should submit a resume and current portfolio of work. Qualified applicants may be expected to complete a small design test.

Responsibilities:

• Generate visually appealing interface art that meets the game design and product needs through iteration and collaboration with team members and stakeholders
• Produce polished themed sets of aspirational icons across various styles
• Create compelling illustrations for use in store and splash screens
• Adhere to pre-existing style guides to ensure interface design consistency
• Manage UI assets and libraries
• Incorporate feedback from the Art Director and UI Designers
• Provide and manage feedback on assets from external vendors

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience designing and integrating art assets into functional user interfaces
• Expertise in using color, style, iconography, typography, information design, and visual hierarchies

• Solid understanding of Graphic Design principals

• Experience working in an iterative, agile environment
• Excited to improve visual skills, learn new techniques and applicable technology
• Self-directed, receptive to critique and feedback
• Enjoys playing a wide variety of games
