WGames is a well-funded, social gaming company based in the heart of downtown Toronto. We develop high-end mobile games that will be distributed globally. We are seeking a talented 2D Artist / Illustrator to join our team .
Established in 2017 by President & CEO, Daniel Kajouie, the company’s headquarters operates in the heart of Downtown Toronto. WGAMES is equipped with unsurpassed facilities and world-class talent in art, design and software development paired with a seasoned leadership team in the mobile and social gaming industry.
Responsibilities:
- Work with games in a variety of themes and styles.
- Create high-quality 2D art assets, including characters, props, and backgrounds.
- Bring a project from start to finish.
- Mockup projects to visualize final in-game expectations.
- Create and/or modify textures for 3D assets.
- Design UI assets to support current projects.
What you'll need:
- Excellent 2D art skills.
- Solid understanding of Design and Typography.
- Expert-level in Adobe Photoshop.
- Good communication skills.
- Understanding of technical limitations in art assets.
- Versatile art style: you can draw in different art styles according to the project's needs.
- Feedback is critical: you need the passion to improve and help others to improve as well.
- Strong organizational skills: you are comfortable working unsupervised and meet deadlines.
- Be able to legally work in Canada.
Nice to have:
- 2+ years experience working with high-quality mobile games
- 3D and animation skills.
- Experience with Unity 3D
- Experience with Casino Slots games
- Ability to learn new technologies
- Passion for art and games
- Knowledge of different cultures
