Blizzard Entertainment is looking for a motivated and experienced character technical artist to join its renowned Overwatch development team!

채용될 시니어 캐릭터 테크니컬 아티스트는 3D 캐릭터 아티스트, 컨셉 아티스트 및 애니메이터와 긴밀히 협력하여 캐릭터 제작 프로세스를 전반에 걸쳐 지원함으로써 지금까지 쌓은 지식과 기술을 활용하게 될 것입니다.

Help make our next heroes come to life! You'll leverage your skills by providing support throughout the character skin production process, working closely with character artists and animators; physics set-up and skinning character bodies and faces, and preparing them technically for export.

또한 프로덕션 파이프라인 및 관련 팀의 요구에 부합하는 작업을 하게 될 것이며 게임 디자인, 애니메이션 및 VFX를 포함한 다른 부서와 협력하여 작업하게 됩니다.

Your work will be aligned to the needs of a production pipeline and teams we support. You will work collaboratively with other departments including modeling, game design, animation, concept, and VFX.

The ideal candidate is a highly motivated artist who has built complex rigs and is capable of maintaining a high level of visual and technical quality for all characters and must have a strong understanding of skinning, ragdolls, anatomy, cloth / hair, and be comfortable in a scripting environment.

지원 자격 Minimum Requirement

• Maya 또는 이와 유사한 소프트웨어를 기반으로 한 최소 3년 이상의 rigging/skinning 경험
• Character kinematics, deformations, and topology에 대한 강력한 지식
• Character Skinning, Physics, and Technical Workflow에 대한 높은 숙련도
• 뛰어난 커뮤니케이션 및 협업 기술
  
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in rigging/skinning characters in Maya, or similar software
• Strong knowledge of character kinematics, deformations, and topology
• High proficiency in character Skinning, Physics, and Technical Workflows
• Experience in Python, or other programming languages

우대사항 Pluses

• Maya 툴 개발 및 파이프라인 설계에 관한 지식
• Python 또는 기타 프로그래밍 언어 사용 경험
• Cloth / hair rigs and art directed shot simulations 관련 경험
• 현재 업계에서 사용되는 layout, modeling, rigging, simulations 및 animation tool과 워크플로우에 대한 높은 지식
• 블리자드 게임을 향한 열정
• Destruction, VFX, Material Creation 등 관련 경험

• Experience working with in-engine cloth and rigid body physics
• Thorough knowledge of layout, modeling, rigging, and animation tools and workflows currently used in the industry
• Strong communications skills
• Knowledge on subjects such as Maya tool development and pipeline design
• Passion for Blizzard games
• Experience in Destruction, VFX, Material Creation, etc.
