Writer - Gaming & Metaverse

Who are we? 🚀

Admix is the leader and innovator for the pioneering new ad format In-Play. In other words, we allow developers to place non-intrusive ads inside their game worlds much like you would see a billboard in a city or a poster on the underground. It’s a new way to monetise games, and it’s better for players, better for developers, and better for advertisers. A win-win-win-win (that last ‘win’ could be you).

Founded in 2017, we’ve experienced exciting growth and our headcount currently sits at around 70. Our next step is using our tech to form the monetisation backbone of the metaverse, and we’re looking for a talented wordsmith to craft that ambition into a wide variety of entertaining and educational content.

Requirements

What you’ll be doing

• Writing regular deep features into the metaverse, gaming, and the creator economy
• Write the occasional feature about Admix tech and announcements
• Edit the writing of other creatives, developers, and other teams
• Work towards SEO best standards to get your work seen
• Tweaking and repurposing those deep dives into entertaining and educational content for social media, eBooks, whitepapers, and more
• Taking writing briefs from other teams and stakeholders in the company
• Collaborate with an external PR team to make great content

Requirements 💪

• Excellent content or copywriting skills. Ideally, 2-3 years of experience in a tech environment.
• Even better if you have experience writing about gaming and/or the metaverse
• A portfolio of work showing off your skills
• A genuine passion for gaming and the metaverse (feel free to state your current obsession in your cover letter)
• A knack for getting to the heart of complex topics and explaining them at different levels for different audiences - but never in a boring way
• Talent and experience in time management
• Keen interest in our mission to create the monetisation layer of the metaverse
