World & Level Design QV Analyst - BioWare

The World & Level Design QV Analyst is responsible for the systematic testing of the game as it is being assembled by the BioWare level and world designers, writers and artists.
By using design documentation, your own creativity along with tools and data, you will evaluate and verify the user experience generated by the game content (world and levels).
You will create test plans by reviewing design specifications and content scripts, provide timely and meaningful feedback, as well as estimate, prioritize and coordinate quality testing activities on the playable spaces of the game. You will closely collaborate with game developers on a day to day basis, and become part of the World & Leve design scrum teams.
Daily responsibilities
- Determine testing requirements for any content delivered by the World & Level Designers
- Evaluate the User Experience of different design components (world building, story, player immersion, cinematics, levels etc)
- Cooperate closely with game designers, artists and other developers to ensure content is testable and quality requirements are met
- Create and execute test strategies
- Create reports to outline status and evolution of quality in the World & Level Design space
- Identify and escalate risks related to Levels and World design to project leadership
- Perform basic troubleshooting/debugging activities on various tools
Mandatory capabilities and background
- 1+ years of experience working in a game/software QA environment
- Passionate about gaming and player experience
- Planning and Strategy oriented
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent English writing and speaking skills
- Good communication abilities both verbally and written
- Ability to work within a team and independently
Nice to have:
- Familiarity with Level/Game Design concepts
- Experience working with multiple gaming platforms (PC, Console, Mobile)
- Avid consumer of games across multiple genres
Required Work schedule: Monday to Friday 18:30 – 02:00.
