The Role
Firewalk Studios is looking for a World Artist – Organics who is interested in applying their skills to help bring exceptional entertainment to millions of players. As our World Artist – Organics, you will be responsible for working with the world art and concept teams to create high quality Organic focused assets for use in our worlds.

- Your portfolio reflects your experience, and skill in creating organics focused assets.
- You are inspired by how nature exists on our world and often dream of what other worlds might look like.
- You feel at home creating and collaborating with the world art and concept teams to ensure you assets meet direction and needs of the project.
- You find time to play video games & empathize deeply with our players, because you are a gamer at heart.
What Your Day Might Look Like
- Creating a wide range of AAA quality organic focused assets, from plants and trees to rocks and cliffs.
- Meeting with the World Art Lead, Level Artists, and Level Designers to review your most recent work in context with the rest of the environment.
- Collaborating with a small organics team to plan, scope, and construct final in game assets.
- Collaborating Art Direction and Concept teams to create the vision for our worlds organics look and feel.
- Joining playtests to see how your assets are influencing the game and to give feedback on the entire game.
Qualifications
- Proficient to be able to create assets in Blender or other 3D package, Zbrush, Substance Suite, and the Unreal Engine.
- Experience with SpeedTree and/or Houdini is a plus.
- Strong understanding of building assets to match gameplay requirements.
- Strong understanding of art principles. Shape, composition, color blocking, etc.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate across disciplines.
- You have worked with a team to meet shared goals, or ship a project as an Environment Artist, or Organics focused role.
- Experience with the production cycle of competitive multiplayer games is a big plus.
