Rockstar India is on the lookout for a Workplace Hospitality Manager who is passionate about hospitality and providing great service to our employees. This role is responsible for the operations and daily activities of a cafeteria, while also managing housekeeping to help maintain a high quality of cleanliness and service throughout the studio. This is a full-time permanent position based out of Rockstar’s game development studio in Bangalore, India.
WHAT WE DO
- The Rockstar Workplace Services Team is responsible for making sure the workplace, building, facilities, and services work harmoniously together to support the core business.
- We provide a creative, supportive, and safe working environment for the staff at Rockstar Games.
- We manage and develop both hard and soft workplace services, including cafeteria and building maintenance, security, cleaning, space utilization and strategy.
- We ensure the site is following all relevant safety and legal standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for planning, managing, monitoring, supervising, and aiding in the operation and functions of the cafeteria.
- Supervise and train the cafeteria and housekeeping staff to adhere to our high standards of cleanliness and satisfaction, ensuring they carry out their roles professionally and to the required standard.
- Monitor daily operations of the cafeteria and housekeeping department, including the cleanliness of the entire facility.
- Oversee the housekeeping and cafeteria department budget, functioning of equipment, meal planning, food storage, and other services.
- Ensure team members comply with high standards of cleanliness and sanitation protocol.
- Audit product inventory levels to ensure availability, and order new products as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with all legal and statutory requirements as well as safety and sanitary regulations.
- Participate in projects to develop the studio space over the long-term.
- Ensure the effective documentation and development of building and facilities information, particularly operational processes and documents required for safety and compliance.
- Manage the outsourced catering and cleaning vendor teams.
- Oversee operations including effective working relationships with associates, stakeholders, contractors, and vendors.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management or equivalent experience.
- Experience in hospitality or food service industry, such as catering establishments, hospital cafeterias, or restaurants.
- Experience in a supervisory role, overseeing cafeteria and housekeeping staff.
- Knowledge of food quality specifications particularly around special dietary requirements.
SKILLS
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Sound numerical and customer service skills.
- Leadership experience with effective decision-making, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel).
- Flexibility to handle changing tasks and priorities on a daily or hourly basis.
- Ability to work with others in a fast-paced environment and to address employee concerns in a pleasant, courteous manner.
PLUSES

- Candidate who speaks local language is a plus.
- Experience with Monday.com.
- Experience with AutoCAD and project management platforms.
