THE POSITION

Miniclip Head of Real Estate & Workplace Services team is searching for a Workplace Health, Safety & Wellbeing (HSM) Manager.
This is a full-time position in our Lisbon (PT) Games Development Studio, with regular international business travel.

Reporting to the Head of Real Estate & Workplace Services the Workplace HSW Manager is responsible for managing and implementing a HSW framework, taking responsibility for the development of HSW strategies, policies, processes, and procedures considering best practices and operational needs of the business, thus ensuring compliance with all the current H&S legislation.

The Workplace HSW Manager will take the lead for all Health, Safety & Wellbeing related activity, proving expertise and insight to the business across all the locations in which we have a place of business.


DUTIES

Working closely with Workplace Services Team, HR and Managers community, the Workplace HSW duties include:

• Develop and implement a strategic plan for Health, Safety and Wellbeing across the organization to ensure regulatory compliance and the promotion of HSW for all employees.
• Develop and implement HSW policies, programs, and procedures.
• Ensure that HSW implications are included as part of our wider business continuity / emergency response planning.
• Development and delivery of relevant HSW training across the group.
• Ensure that the Workplace Services and project teams are self-sufficient and properly enabled through a successful HSW coaching and influencing strategy.
• Provide a first point of contact for HSW matters throughout the organization of both employees and service providers.
• Complete audits and reviews to the HWS systems to ensure policies and procedures are being adhered to.
• Proactively work with local authorities, landlords and service providers to ensure a robust approach to H&S in the offices.
• Ensure changes to legislation, codes of practice, regulations, policies and procedures are identified, communicated, addressed and implemented in an effective and timely manner.
• Identify, lead and embed a plan of action/ implementation of practice within the organization that will ensure accreditation through WELL and LEED certification.
• Elaborate and coordinate RFP for HSW consultancy related matters.
• Coordinate and manage 3rd party HSW consultants.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver the core role effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Working with P&O to establish, then deliver, the wellbeing improvements that will most benefit Miniclippers.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Degree qualification in related areas.
• Extensive and up to date knowledge of Health and Safety legislation.
• Experience of Health and Safety management and auditing.
• Significant experience in working in a multi-location organization providing complex diverse care.
• Have a warm, friendly, approachable style and the ability to manage stakeholders proactively and effectively.
• Be always alert for ways to improve things – our company is evolving, and it is vital that we constantly seek out ways to ensure that our workplace and the experience of those using it never becomes stale.
• An excellent command of the English Language (both written and verbal).
