Working Student Community Manager - Remote (f/m/d)
If you love helping people and maintaining positive energy within a community, then this is the right job for you. We are looking for a student who loves games and wants to help us to communicate with our players. You will get the chance to be part of the team that makes ‘Idle Miner Tycoon’, whilst working from home, around your studies. Our Community Management team are a key part of our games’ success and directly impact our reviews and feedback, which is incredibly important.
This role will revolve around answering player queries - both private and public - in English. You will communicate with people via email and numerous social platforms, including within the app stores. This role will initially be limited to a 6-month contract.
Please note that, although this role is a remote position, we are only accepting applicants who reside in Germany.
Responsibilities
- Reply to players’ questions and feedback via various social media platforms and our messaging system Helpshift
- Help players with technical issues via e-mail and direct messages
- Respond to player reviews in the Google Play Store and iOS App Store
Requirements
- Highly motivated and well-organized work approach
- Strong written skills in English (at least C1)
- Must reside in Germany and be enrolled at an accredited university
- Available to work 20 hours a week across flexible workdays, including weekends and weekday evenings
Desirable skills
- Experience in customer support and/or community management
- Any languages at C1+ level in addition to the required English skills
- Passion for and knowledge of (our) games
