Auroch Digital is an independent game studio, established in 2010 and with an extensive catalogue, including Mars Horizon and Dark Future: Blood Red States. We have an exciting stable of licensed and independent IP games in development including our upcoming beer brewing hobby game, Brewmaster and our Retro FPS, Boltgun. We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and empathetic individual to join our team as a Wellbeing Coordinator. This key support role is an integral part of our studio, working closely with the leadership team to proactively manage the welfare of our talented team. As a Wellbeing Coordinator, you will collaborate closely with Sumo HR to ensure our team at Auroch Digital has access to the necessary services and support they require. Joining our studio offers a remarkable opportunity to be part of an organisation that truly prioritises the wellbeing of its people above all else.
Please note, this role is a 12-month FTC.
In this role you will:
- Be the primary point of contact for all issues relating to staff wellbeing, be it personal or work-related.
- Conduct regular wellbeing check-ins with staff.
- Act as a link between Sumo HR and Auroch Digital specifically for wellbeing.
- Support the leadership team by booking and sitting in 121s, probations and reviews, taking notes, completing necessary forms, and arranging follow-up meetings.
- Be highly knowledgeable on services and support Sumo offers so this can be signposted during relevant discussions.
- Manage Auroch’s content on our in-house learning platform.
- Keep track of wellbeing training within the company, for example, mental health first aiders and neuro-diversity.
To be successful, you will:
- Have experience working in emotionally supportive roles such as in the mental health or social services sectors.
- Have the ability to organise multiple tasks and have numerous priorities ongoing.
- Have good knowledge of the Microsoft Office package and be IT literate.
- Be discreet and be understanding of confidentiality issues.
- Be empathetic, honest and be able to communicate effectively at all levels.
