In your role with Open League, you will have a proven record of owning and delivering experiences to players that raises-the-bar from innovation whilst thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

We seek a highly experienced, passionate, and driven web3 marketing manager to create, grow, and delight the user community of our upcoming play-to-earn web3 gaming platform. You will be given the crucial responsibility of bringing our platform and its debut play-to-earn game to market and exceeding the critical mass required to successfully grow the brand.

By tapping into your existing expertise in the web3 and gaming space, you will identify our core target audience. You will create and successfully execute a robust go-to-market strategy that deeply resonates with our users. You will work closely with the technical and creative teams to ensure strategic and brand alignment at all times.

Responsibilities:

• Have a deep knowledge of consumer behavior of the web3/ gaming audience, and execute a strong go-to-market strategy to acquire new users and drive engagement.
• Conceptualize, plan and execute short and long-term marketing strategies to boost engagement and drive exponential growth.
• Leverage knowledge of the web3 and gaming industry to identify, understand and refine our core target audience.
• Take ownership of our outreach and partnership programs and develop a strategy for identifying and monitoring these channels.
• Acquire an in-depth understanding of what the project aims to achieve and how to best communicate our story and goals to our target audience.
• Analyze funnels, game ecosystems, user behavior, and long-term trends to identify opportunities to drive adoption and ensure the best possible user experience.
• Build connections with the wider web3 community to drive brand growth across social media channels such as Discord, Twitter, and Instagram, as well as mainstream outlets (if needed).
• Work as an integral and proactive member of the strategic and game team.
• Be highly dynamic and have the ability to quickly adapt strategies and campaigns in light of new trends/ incoming user information.
• Proactively pitch innovative ideas on how to continually improve the game, user experience, and engagement.
• Collaborate with communities to develop interesting campaigns to both engage our community and widen our target audience.
• Work closely and in harmony with cross-functional teams— creative, content, product, outreach, community engagement, and technical teams - to ensure full strategic alignment.
• Take full ownership of their tasks and be passionate about ensuring the success of the project.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Demonstrated experience in successfully launching and growing web3 brands.
• Expertise in viral marketing and social growth for web3 projects.
• A strong network of contacts in the web3 and gaming industries.
• Ability to create and execute effective marketing strategies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Flexibility and willingness to operate in a fast-paced environment.
• Minimum 1+ years of experience in crypto marketing.
• In-depth knowledge of NFT & WEB3 ecosystem.
• Ability to be both detail-oriented as well as see the bigger picture.
• Strong knowledge of the video gaming/ web3 gaming audience.
• Strategic marketing perspective and ability to think like a CMO.
• Must be comfortable creating value by building networking partners.
• Writing or design skills are an added BONUS.
• Passion for web3 and the gaming industry and a strong desire to excel.
