We are looking for Quality Assurance professionals to join our Streamframe application development team. You will be working closely with our team of software developers while testing features and ensuring the highest standard of quality while ensuring the product conforms to both functional and non-functional requirements.
To be successful in this role, applicants must be familiar with quality assurance best practices, various web technologies, and will be expected to work well with a variety of internal and external stakeholders and balancing priorities between them.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Proactively discover and report bugs on the Streamframe platform as well as client projects
- Verify that new features conform to quality standards and meet the expectations outlined in their corresponding design documentation.
- Work with Node.js, JavaScript, Golang, Python, and PowerShell
- Analyze the current process and continually plan to effectively streamline future testing procedures with automation
- Review requirements specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
- Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases. Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities.
- Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open source tools. Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs.
- Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
- Work with the development and product team to address issues with the product as well as suggest improvements.
Requirements
- Able to work in the ASEAN timezones
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or a relevant experience
- Must have knowledge of automated testing.
- A clear understanding of the SDLC and Agile fundamentals
- You’re experienced with AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, or other relevant cloud computing technologies.
- Experience with project management software such as Jira, Trello, or Microsoft Projects
- Experience using distributed version control software (Git, SVN)
- Prior experience creating, executing, and maintaining test cases
- 1+ year experience working in a QA team in the game or software development industry
- Excellent command of spoken and written English
