Web Developer (.NET)

Ubisoft is seeking a Web Developer to join our IT Department to design and develop web applications. You will join an international department and work with different teams and projects. Reporting to a development team lead (yes, your manager knows how to code), you will collaborate with your teammates to build a wide range of products.

Your main mission

• Collaborate with cross-functional agile teams on designing, implementing, testing, and maintaining large scalable distributed applications.
• Prototype new technology and evaluate technical feasibility.
• Drive best practices and engineering excellence.
• Develop and research ideas for Ubisoft IT projects
• Provide guidance and mentoring to junior level developers

You will have the chance to be part of multiple teams in the IT Department. Depending on the work load you may be affected to different teams. You will start by focusing on the following topics:

• E-sport tools both for tournament organization and streaming
• Internal transversal tools that target internal developers
• Products to enable Ubisoft content indexation and search

The professional value you bring

• Experience working with cloud infrastructure, specifically AWS services.
• Extensive experience with API design and implementation (REST, GraphQL, etc.).
• Proficient in C# (.net core) – OOP, data structures, algorithms
• Knowledge of at least one modern front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, Vue, Svelt
• Familiarity with AWS and have built apps leveraging its offerings (S3, SNS/SQS, EC2, Kinesis, Cloud Formations, etc.).

Nice to have

• NodeJS experience
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases and cloud services such as Aurora, MSSQL, DynamoDB, Redis
