Web Content Specialist Student Worker

The Live & Digital Web Product team is looking to hire an entry-level Web Content Specialist. We publish a ton of daily content on Unity.com and other Unity web properties, so we’re looking for someone who has a keen eye for detail, a sense for design and an interest in delivering great digital content to help us get information out to our users.

Content comes from many different teams inside Unity. In this role, you will work with our Content Manager and also work cross-functionally with product, product marketing, digital marketing, project management, copywriting and our UX designers. You will have the opportunity to develop and work in a fast paced, dynamic, and international environment.

This role reports to the Manager, Product Management of Unity.com.

Responsibilities

• Adding/editing copy across the Unity web ecosystem using our in-house built CMS
• Working with our Content Manager of Unity.com to ensure that copy and content leads to a performant consumer journey
• Updating/modifying pages with help of Content Manager based on data and performance metrics
• Partnering with the web development team to publish new web pages
• Working with the Brand & Design team to ensure that we have the right asset specifications for new web pages
• Working with the Product Marketing Managers to ensure we have the right copy and page layout
• Working with the Copywriting team to ensure the copy reflects our brand’s voice

Requirements

• You must be currently studying in a recognised University in a relevant subject area such as marketing, web development, design, communications.
• Very comfortable learning new technologies and systems (coding not required)
• Proactive, self-organized, fast learner with strong written and oral communication skills
• Detail-oriented and not afraid to work independently within the tight deadlines
• Has understanding how web development/design teams work and has a basic understanding of Agile methodologies

Bonus Points

• Experience working with a Content Management System or building web pages
• Passionate about the gaming/tech industry
