As the Warehouse Supervisor, you will lead the warehouse team and processes to ensure the incoming goods, storage and dispatch services to internal, external and export customers is accurate and on time.
You will also be responsible for leading the warehouse team to ensure outstanding results are achieved whilst driving a strong commitment to safety and continuous improvement. You will also develop productive and strong working relationships with Sales, Field Service and Operations teams.
Some key responsibilities include:
- Manage and develop a high performing warehouse team and culture by motivating staff to maximise performance and grow capabilities
- Ensure the maintenance of a healthy and safe working environment
- Lead continuous improvement and optimisation of warehouse systems, processes, and procedures to improve and transform our warehouse operational performance
- Supervise the recovery of spare parts from the trade in process contributing to reduced external repair spend
- Drive warehouse KPIs to ensure departmental performance and achievements
- Support compliance with the operational strategy across its safety, quality, delivery, and cost goals
- Oversee administrative functions of the warehouse, ensuring integrity of data
- Daily reporting of shift performance to Warehouse Manager
- Support cross functional activities across the Logistics, Production, Warehouse, and Inventory teams
What We're Looking For
- Experience working a Warehouse Supervisor role is essential
- Experience managing a team would be highly desirable
- Certification in logistics, supply chain and/or warehouse management is preferable
- Valid forklift licence is desirable
- Advanced knowledge of warehouse management systems and ERPs
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to mentor and lead staff
- Solid financial and commercial acumen
