Visual Personalization Designer (In-Game Features and Products)

Overview

ZeniMax Online Studios is looking for a Visual Personalization Designer to assist in the design and implementation of features and cosmetics for The Elder Scrolls Online team. This designer will work with gameplay designers to create pitches for new cosmetics for players. They will be responsible for creating sketches and mood boards for ideas as well as assisting in setting up the data for approved pitches using proprietary tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist with ideation and authoring designs for new personalization products and features
• Create visual aids to assist in communicating an idea to the rest of the team
• Use proprietary toolset to implement data for approved designs
• Contribute to conversations about features, with a focus on ensuring quality systems meet the goals of the business
• Work with Product Management to execute on player cosmetic strategies

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with systemic and visual designing
• Experience playing MMORPGs and games as a service
• Knowledge of Microsoft office or similar products
• Experience with image editing software
• Experience with game development tools
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Understanding of how art and game systems interact
