Senior / Principal Visual Effects Artist

WHAT YOU WILL DO
As a Visual Effects (VFX) Artist, your main tasks and responsibilities are:
- You are responsible for creating, visualizing and implementing particle and shader effects in close collaboration with the design and art departments;
- You will work on a wide range of environmental, weapon and character effects;
- You are responsible for making your work to run within performance requirements;
- You are responsible for setting up logic that drives your effects using our visual scripting language (similar to Unreal Blueprint).
WHO YOU ARE
We are looking for a Visual Effects (VFX) Artist who has the following experience and expertise:
- You have a strong technical and artistic skillset with a passion for building expressive effects shaders;
- You have experience with Maya or similar 3D packages and node based shader building (Unreal, Maya hypershade, etc);
- You have strong understanding of particle systems (Houdini, Popcorn FX, Cascade, etc);
- You have experience in visual scripting language;
- Self-motivated to learn and explore new software;
- You enjoy working in agile, multi-disciplinary team;
- You are pro-actively solving issues that might arise during production.
PLUSSES
- Experience with other engines and tool sets such as Unity, Unreal, etc;
- You have shipped a title before;
- Houdini experience.
