Job Description

3D Artists at MELON are responsible for helping produce some of the coolest collaborative gaming experiences on the Roblox platform. As a 3D artist, you will be working from extensive blueprint documents and asset lists provided by our game design and digital experience divisions. These game projects range from 2-6 months each and require full-time availability to produce the best work possible. You will be expected to manage your own time to create high quality meshes and textures in a wide assortment of styles.

MELON provides training materials to assist with quickly learning the requirements to produce work on the Roblox platform.

Qualifications

• 4+ Years Working With Blender, Maya, or similar.
• 2+ Years working with Unreal Engine, Roblox Studio, or similar.
• Deep understanding of 3D art fundamentals
• Ability to design basic and complex 3D assets in various art styles
• Ability to work alongside other 3D artists, animators, and game designers
• Ability to fluently communicate in English via Text and Voice
• Ability to problem-solve and communicate problems.
• Ability to stay on-schedule and manage your own time.

Experience working with Basecamp, Notion, or GSuite

Experience working on Roblox

Experience creating characters

Experience creating animation rigs for 3D models
