Video Editor/ VFX Artist

KIXEYE is seeking a talented and versatile video editor/ VFX artist to join their growing art team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating high quality visuals for use in worldwide promotional materials and in-game assets.
Required Experience and Skills:
- Demonstrated experience working professionally in a similar roles
- Advanced skills with Adobe After Effects and solid skills in Premiere Pro
- Experience editing short, exciting video montages (audio and visual)
- Experience in creating VFX (visual effects) such as explosions, fire, smoke, projectiles, etc
- Experience in creating motion graphics and animating titles
- Experience with animating and rendering 3D assets
- Great understanding of composition and color theory
- Comprehensive knowledge of resolution and export codecs for video
- Strong English communication skills
- Ability to give and receive constructive feedback
- Ability to multi-task and to adapt easily to change
- Ability to work within branding guidelines
- Above all – be passionate about creating exciting video content and VFX!
Responsibilities:
- Capturing, editing and assembling videos using raw game-play footage, audio, detailed video treatments and relevant VFX
- Work iteratively, making changes to your edits based off notes and feedback
- Complete editing assignments in a timely manner and prepare content for final release
- Be responsible for the storage, archiving and backup of video content so that footage is easy to find, and safely stored
- Work between multiple projects on a given day while maintaining the highest form of quality
- Be current on industry trends and technologies to provide insight into current workflows
- Work closely with producers and other teams in the production pipeline to ensure a consistent, collaborative, and efficient approach to creating content
Nice to Have:
- Experience with 3D modeling
- Experience with JIRA, Google Spreadsheets and Google Docs
- Experience with Unity and game video capture
- An avid gamer, with a passion for excellence in games
