Damage: The Esports Agency is a full-service gaming & esports marketing & creative agency that assists brands with navigating our space. Based in Los Angeles, we are a group of gamers and agency leaders that are redefining brand marketing in gaming and esports. Companies hire us to help them build their brand within the ever-growing community of gamers and esports enthusiasts.
THE ROLE:
We are seeking a dedicated Video Content Producer to join our growing team in Los Angeles. The candidate will collaborate with the brand team to ensure quality of concept, work produced in addition to presenting creative work to the client.
The Content Producer will be responsible for content production activities from vetting concepts, managing pre-production, production & post production partners, leading the bidding process and attending all shoots, recordings and editing sessions.
THE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Plans the production process in collaboration with creative team including providing production calendar
- Manages all aspects of pre-production, production and post production including following client bidding procedures
- Work closely with the assigned creative team to ensure that their vision for campaign content is seen through providing input on directors and treatments
- Present production budget and calendar to internal and external clients, addressing production related questions
- Assess creative concepts and accurately scope projects within budget and timing constraints
- Develop content production solutions and strategies by identifying directors, production and post production partners appropriate for each project
- Maintain accurate records and documents related to all production from bid specifications, partner bid submissions, change orders, invoice review to reconciling production estimates to actual
- Manage and attend live action production, as well as animation production, CG/VFX, audio sessions
- Obtain signed releases for likeness, props and property on assigned projects
- Follow current labor laws, AICP and Screen Actors Guild guidelines on assigned projects
- Firm understanding of Union vs. Non-Union project parameters
- Ensure scripts are cleared following client legal and media placement parameters
- Direct and inspire internal and external teams by communicating a vision for the project
- Build positive relationships with new production partners and leverage your existing relationships
- Develop and grow the skill sets of the production team
THE REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years of advertising content production experience
- 3+ years at a full service 360-degree digital solutions agency
- Experience working with cost consultants on bidding best practice
- Sharp sense for visual storytelling across multiple channels
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as bid specifications, scripts and storyboards
- Ability to write and speak effectively to groups including clients and external partners
- Proven record being able to curate relationships with producers and vendors
- Experience running photo and video shoots
- Excellent project and timeline management skills
- Experience in one or more of following content categories: gaming & esports, entertainment, media, sports or lifestyle marketing experience
