You will report directly to EA's Chief Information Security Officer and lead the team responsible for the technical strategy for securing all of EA's corporate systems, employees and data. You will partner with IT to architect network protections, identity infrastructure, and employee device strategy. You will design and implement security programs, and define how systems are built, managed, and monitored. You will also promote our defensive strategy to ensure our corporate network and PCI environments are protected. The VP will lead developing the enterprise security roadmap for EA.
You will partner with our CIO and other CTO leaders, and game creation technology leaders to ensure security strategies are implemented by EA's global technical teams.
We are looking for someone who will measure and minimize important security risks, while understanding the impact to business. You will provide, high-quality and subject matter expertise, designs, and guidance on all aspects of EA's enterprise security.
You will be business-facing and need to coordinate with partner teams for successful execution, so you must demonstrate, knowledge towards building lasting partnerships. We ask that you coordinate and communicate plans and status and is equipped to talk with authority around multiple technical and procedural matters on Security and Risk Management. You can brief the C-suite and prepare updates for the board of directors.
You have knowledge of enterprise security offerings, including experience with cloud and modern DevOps technologies. You will have experience making risk management decisions, be detailed, and process-oriented. You have hands-on experience establishing and driving enterprise security programs and individual projects through clear goals and measurements.
Responsibilities
- Provide security vision for main security concerns facing the business – employee protection and IAM, data protection, device protection and DevOps security - based on leading security practices and experience.
- Lead information security architects and engineers to build our technical strategy, programs and solutions.
- Promote an environment where world-class security engineers and architects can excel while also developing a diverse, robust pipeline of talent. You will need to foster teamwork and community that achieve results widely across EA.
- Coordinate and partner with technical teams across the company to secure our employees, corporate systems and intellectual property.
- Report and improve enterprise compliance to EA's information security standards.
- Be on point for assessing vendor evaluation, architecture, design, implementation, and support of security solutions.
- Maintain up-to-date detailed knowledge of the IT security industry, including awareness of new or revised security solutions, improved security processes and the development of new attacks and threat vectors.
- Establish trusted relationships with partner teams through active engagement, clear accountability and expectations.
- Together with the CISO, set EA's information security and modern DevOps standards.
Qualifications
- A successful track record and at least 10 years of experience in technology and information security.
- At least 10 years' experience as a manager, with experience as a 'manager of managers'.
- Previous senior advisory role in medium- to large- enterprise Information Technology organization.
- Experience with how to conduct risk assessments and the associated methodologies involved in risk mitigation and the presentation of this work. Demonstrated expertise at using these techniques to make risk management and prioritization decisions.
- Knowledge of virtualization and cloud technologies, platforms, and services.
- Knowledge of directory, identity, authentication, and access management technologies (e.g., AD, LDAP, SSO, AD FS, multi-factor authentication, TACACS+, Radius, etc.).
- Broad knowledge of security technologies (e.g., encryption, SIEM, DLP, AV, network scanners, vulnerability scanners, etc.).
- Broad knowledge of operational and security processes/controls (e.g., vulnerability management, patch management, configuration management, access management, etc.).
- Knowledge of network technologies (e.g., TCP/IP, routing protocols, MPLS, ACLs, firewall, VPN, load balancer, network traffic analysis, IDS/IPS, proxy, etc.).
- Knowledge of modern application development, DevOps technologies and cloud platforms (e.g., Container Platforms, Kubernetes, Git, Jenkins, AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.)
- Demonstrated knowledge of recognized security industry standards and leading practices (e.g., PCI, OWASP, NIST CSF, etc.)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related fields.
