Aristocrat Technologies is seeking a Vice President, Compensation and Benefits hands-on leadership role reporting to the SVP, Global Head of Reward and supporting, as a trusted advisor, the SVP of People and Culture, Gaming. The successful candidate will lead, advise, and manage the delivery of comprehensive Total Rewards recommendations, programs, and solutions that align with the Gaming and broader Group business’ reward strategies. The Vice President, Compensation and Benefits guides how Aristocrat remunerates and rewards our associates, manager and executive leaders through solutions including performance management, salary planning, market analysis, job design, variable pay planning, benefit planning as they transform and advance the design, develop, and build some of your very favorite digital casino games found in casinos and on mobile devices throughout the world.
Remote is an option for this role but will require regular travel to our key locations in Las Vegas, Austin, Nashville and Sydney.What You'll Do
Roles and Responsibilities:
- As a member of the Global Reward Leadership Team contribute to developing, building, enhancing, and implementing Compensation & Benefits solutions and incentive and equity programs in line with the Gaming business strategy and the broader corporate reward strategy
- Manage the delivery of compensation and benefits programs, recommendations and solutions covering specific areas of Compensation & Benefits, including performance management, salary planning, market analysis, job design, variable pay planning, benefit planning, vendor relationship management, or other services
- Lead the US Benefits team to provide best in class health plans and 401K plans for US based Aristocrat and Pixel United employees
- Identifying areas of long-term strategic development within Compensation specific to the Gaming environment, with a particular focus on sales commission plans, Studio incentive plans and D&D compensation programs that drives improved business performance
- Providing interpretation and counsel to Gaming Executive Management regarding Group Compensation & Benefits policies, programs, and practices
- Researching issues and applying best practice, develop Compensation & Benefits solutions to resolve strategic business issues as part of the Global Reward leadership team
- Developing and/or updating and implementing new Compensation & Benefits policies, practices, and programs to meet market specific, organizational, and Gaming market specific needs
- Manage any third-party relationships relevant to compensation and benefits programs specific to Gaming businesses or as part of the Global Reward team
- Collaborate with People & Culture leaders to understand business needs, contribute to developing fit for purpose solutions and supporting the People & Culture function and working closely with tax, finance, and legal partners
What We're Looking For
Required Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or human resources or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of experience in total rewards with expert knowledge of Compensation & Benefits theory and best practices with exposure to all forms of incentive and equity plans, international mobility, and M&A due diligence
- Exceptional financial analysis, compensation modeling, reporting and data interpretation skills
- Experience working with Workday or other ERP HR systems and Compensation Review systems
- Experience working within a global company, across multiple jurisdictions/markets, within a matrix and center of excellence structure
- Knowledge of current compensation and employment legislation in US, LATAM and preferable if experienced in other global locations
- Exceptional written, oral, interpersonal, and presentation skills with the ability to grasp and translate complex and disparate ideas into a cohesive editorial with clear key messaging
- Ability to influence at all levels internally and externally using sound judgment, wisdom, and sensitivity
- Must be an inclusive leader with demonstrated experience guiding, motivating, and developing top talent and dedicated to creating a culture of collaboration and action
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Masters in Finance, HR, or Business Administration is highly preferred
- Prior experience in large digital product, gaming, content distribution, media, and entertainment, or omnichannel retail organizations is highly preferred
