VP, Head of Live Services - PlayStation Studios

As Head of Live Services, you will be responsible for the ownership and successful delivery of the PlayStation Studios Live Service operational framework. You will be responsible for architecting a cohesive and integrated live services business strategy, product strategy and operational framework to deliver commercial success. This role will report to the Head of PlayStation Studios.
Key roles:
- Develop and drive the PlayStation Studios Live Services strategy to influence change in culture, practices and performance and deliver Live Services success.
- Partner with the SIE marketing and commercial teams to ensure that SIE are building a best-in-class live services organisation
- Working alongside the Technology and services teams to build and operate a best-in-class 360° Live Service hub, centralize learnings, practices across organization, including all PlayStation Studios teams
- Work across studios to build the necessary infrastructure, process and governance for us to be successful (e.g., Legal, data, reporting, portfolio management)
- Work with the Portfolio team and across internal and external studios to manage game and content release slate
- Working with the Internal and External Production teams to drive consistent, successful execution of PlayStation Studios Live Service titles, providing Product guidance and input, insights and learnings
- Partner with Finance teams to build out the PlayStation Studios Live Service growth plan, including resourcing, budgeting and revenue projections
Major Areas of Responsibilities:
- Act as a key contributor to the development and enhancement of SIE’s Live Services capabilities
- Organisational design of a PlayStation Studios Live Services hub to deliver value for SIE
- Contribute to product strategy, ensuring growth opportunities are identified and prioritized
- Advise on business cases for PlayStation Studios Live Service products, including revenue model and feature set
- Drive the design and specification of shared service tools alongside the Technology teams
- Coordinate product goals, targets, and plans in relation to studio financial plans
- Build confidence with executive and game leadership around proposed strategies
- Develop framework to guide the creation of and measurement against KPI targets
- Collaborate with Analytics and CI on data collection, analysis, and visualization
Requirements:
- Highly experienced executive with a history of strategy development & leadership
- Experience in building, growing and running live services businesses and operations
- 15+ years of experience in a business or product development function
- Experience in the gaming or entertainment industry preferred
- MBA preferred
