Who We Are:
2K is a major video game developer and publisher and is known for bringing creative and captivating IP to the market, including some of today’s most well-known and critically acclaimed franchises, such as: NBA 2K, Borderlands, WWE 2K, Bioshock, Mafia, XCOM and Sid Meier’s Civilization.
What We Need:
As our VP, Finance you will serve as a key interface between Finance and the rest of the business and you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the 2K Finance team. Reporting to the 2K Head of Finance, this is a highly visible role where you will drive all finance and forecasting processes for the label.
- Key Finance Department contact for the 2K Publishing Departments and T2 Corporate Departments
- Lead and oversee the 2K Finance functions including Planning & Analysis, Budgeting and Forecasting, Studio Operations and Label Accounting
- Manage the overall annual budget, quarterly, monthly and long-range forecasting processes
- Manage the PIRP process and all future investment and strategic analysis
- Drive the annual sales budget and quarterly targets
- Manage month-end P&L and forecast reviews and manage preparation of results to stakeholders
- Provide timely and accurate financial reporting to key stakeholders, including the CFO and department leaders
- Develop presentations and analytical materials to be presented to executive management
- Manage a large team in multiple locations
- Lead, mentor, coach and develop 2K Finance team to reach team and individual goals and help achieve our vision and implement/evolve processes as needed.
- Maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures.
- Develop a proficiency in and a business understanding of all of 2K’s financial systems and data sources and an understanding and working knowledge of 2K financial processes, accounting principles and internal controls
- Identify areas for and implement process improvement and automation, including all financial aspects within departments throughout the organization
Who We Think Will Be A Great Fit:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in comparable business environment preferred
- Advanced skills in Excel. Strongly proficient skills in other Office applications including Word and PowerPoint
- Strong experience with Hyperion/Essbase planning systems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to influence and convince others
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with flexibility to work across different tasks
- Strong work ethic with a positive, can-do attitude
- Must be able to think strategically and possess a detail-oriented, hands-on approach to managing business projects
- Flexible and adaptable to shifting needs, evolving priorities and urgent situations that arise
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from all levels within the organization
