VP, Corporate Development & Investments - NC Partners

We are looking for a VP, Corporate Development & Investments to help lead investment strategy and corporate development functions. As VP, Corporate Development & Investments of NC Partners, you will work closely with our Chief Strategy Officer and the corporate development team at HQ based in Korea. NC Partners is an open innovation hub and investment arm for NCSOFT based principally out of North America.

You will have an exciting opportunity to help shape and deliver on the strategy to broaden NCSOFT’s strategic priorities both in and out of the gaming sector. Your responsibilities will include driving the necessary business insights while building and managing a team of professionals.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Implement NC Partners’ vision, mission, and direction by performing and overseeing the following functions:

• Lead team with multi-functional role across market intelligence as well as sourcing and execution of investment opportunities for both business and corporate development purposes
• Help build and lead a team that can provide thought leadership across technology, transmedia and game industry trends and identify investment opportunities for top management
• Manage and lead evaluation and execution of new growth opportunities through acquisitions, partnerships and open innovation, incubation, and investments

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL

• Love for video games
• 10 years+ in game publishing and/or corporate development in the consumer technology sector
• Combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the responsibilities described above
• Understanding of recent tech trends in emerging technology as well as linear and interactive entertainment
• Analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills with a strong work ethic
• Exceptional leadership and negotiation skills
