User Acquisition & ASO Lead

Miniclip is looking for a User Acquisition and ASO Lead to join our Marketing team in our L ondon o ffice. This is a full-time position reporting to the Head of Performance Marketing .

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

This is a varied and exciting role, working with a leading mobile games and entertainment company. You will work closely with a team of performance marketing experts and have the following responsibilities:

  • Analyse and report performance of all UA and ASO activities to key stakeholders on a regular basis, being one of the main point of contacts across the business for UA-related discussions .
  • Be a key advisor for group companies and have overall responsibility for UA performance across multiple titles.
  • Manage a small team, leading and advising them in their operations, optimising large-scale mobile marketing campaigns across core channels such as Facebook, Google, Ad Networks as well as leading ASO efforts.
  • Perform keyword research, name testing and screenshot testing for our key titles to improve ASO performance.
  • Work with workstream owners to optimise and standardise ASO activities across titles .
  • Develop and deliver user acquisition strategy plans and define KPIs in alignment with business objectives for existing and new mobile titles, setting goals and budgets per title, platform and market .
  • Explore and on-board new ad partners in order to ensure further UA growth .
  • Work with the UA team to test and establish Influencer Marketing as a core source of new users .
  • Ensure that the best ad tech is employed to drive UA at scale, making sure that the acquisition funnel measurement and optimisation runs in the most efficient way possible .
  • Advise product teams, ensure the proper UA setup, and coordinate the launch of UA for new products according to best practices to gain valuable product performance insights ahead of global launches .
  • Define the UA roadmap and set priorities for test campaigns and creative concepts .
  • Take responsibility for a multi-million budget, producing monthly and annual budget forecasts for each game and platform .
  • Work with the UA artists to explore innovative design concepts in order to improve campaign performance .

THE FOLLOWING SKILLS ARE ESSENTIAL FOR THE ROLE

  • 5+ years of experience in paid digital marketing and media buying for mobile apps with a multi-million budget .
  • Strong in-depth knowledge around performance marketing strategies and UA best practices for mobile games .
  • In-depth knowledge of ASO in a worldwide scale .
  • 2+ years of team management and leadership experience .
  • Exceptional analytical and data-driven thinker combined with a creative mind .
  • Extensive expertise of various key mobile marketing channels such as Facebook, Snapchat, Google Ads, Unity Ads, ironSource .
  • A desire for both strategic planning and daily execution/optimisation .
  • Detailed understanding and in-practice experience with tracking tools (e.g. Adjust, Appsflyer ) for mobile advertising campaigns as well as other ad tech solutions for mobile games .
  • E xcellent cross-functional communication skills (both written and verbal) with the ability to sell ideas and negotiate .
  • Comprehensive knowledge about the mobile games industry and performance metrics for various different game genres .
  • Demonstrated experience with product soft- and global-launch procedures with a track record of successfully released games .
  • Deep knowledge of user acquisition funnel analytics and methodologies for remarketing .
  • Passion for games and their design (desirable)
  • Experience with CRM and ad monetisation optimisation (desirable)
