User Acquisition Manager

We are looking for a motivated and passionate User Acquisition Manger to join our team at Seriously in the Santa Monica, CA office. As a User Acquisition Manager, you will use your strong creative and analytical skills to acquire profitable and engaged customers across multiple channels for our portfolio of mobile games. Within your role here, you’ll work side by side with the rest of the UA team along with our creative marketing, product, data science, and customer support teams. Your expertise will directly affect Seriously’s growth strategy and success.

The User Acquisition Manager will be the primary owner of a significant segment of our ROI driven UA portfolio. This person should have 2+ years of relevant experience and must understand the key performance drivers for optimization initiatives across various ad partners. He or she will own the UA campaign performance of key channels and harness strategic opportunities in our larger mobile advertising platforms.

Responsibilities

• Work with senior management to drive the UA strategy.
• Collaborate with other teams across Seriously, including product, data science, creative marketing.
• Independently manage a monthly budget across multiple channels and geos.
• Provide insightful analysis of our UA spend and its results.
• Manage network partners and hold them accountable for campaign performance.
• Vet and test new channels.
• Stay current on the mobile user acquisition landscape, growth trends, best practices, and competitor strategies to develop new ideas and initiatives for growth.

Requirements

Work Experience

• 2+ years experience in managing mobile user acquisition campaigns across viable channels, including ad networks, social, and emerging technology.
• History of using data insights to drive decision making and growth strategy.
• Experience visualizing results and presenting to internal/external clients.
• Experience managing seven figure marketing budgets.
• Ability to build efficient work flows that allow for profitable scale.

Education, Professional Training, Technical Training or Certification

• Bachelor degree or equivalent in marketing, business, economics or other quantitative field preferred.

Knowledge/Skills

• Passion for gaming and games industry is highly valued!
• Experience working in cross team environments with partners in several time zones.
• Able to explain technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
• Proactive approach working with data science and technology teams to build tools to help minimize manual processes.
• Familiar with User Acquisition or general Performance Marketing Experienced with forecasting and modeling for marketing.
• Strong communication skills a must.
