User Acceptance Tester

We're hiring a User Acceptance Tester.
You will be an important resource in delivering user-friendly results to players and Customer Experience (CE) end-users. You'll help us advance project testing methodologies, manage monthly deliverables and participate in the risk and strategic decisions of the team . You'll help the UAT Leads and Managers build documentation and work on the future direction of testing.
How does a User Acceptance Tester make great experiences for players?
Your Primary Strategic Responsibilities Will Be:
- Mitigate risk to the team and the business
- Build testing that supports leadership strategy
- Plan yearly milestones and goals to further UAT's value
- Help us prioritize user-friendly approaches in our products and processes
- Develop training, testing and process that establishes UAT's presence in future products
Your Primary Operational Responsibilities Will Be:
- Translate and write test scripts from the user's perspective
- Perform testing within a monthly schedule
- Use tools and platforms such as TestRail, JIRA, Salesforce, and current-gen consoles
- Gather user feedback through our advisor outreach programs
- Monitor assigned products for monthly sprint health and progress reports to UAT leadership
- Provide deliverables to Leads and Manager (Tester metrics, deadlines, Go/No-Go Approval)
- Maintain UAT how-to documentation, walk-through guides, onboarding information
- Assume UAT Lead deliverables as an occasional development opportunity
- Assess and fix gaps in workflow, testing, documentation
- Maintain project dashboards. Regular review and updates of personal and team assignments such as JIRA and Confluence
If you're interested, you'll need these skills or experiences:
- Experience with bug and test case tracking tools such as JIRA, TestRail, or equivalent
- Understanding of Agile principles
- Translate requirements into test cases with an emphasis on the user perspective
- You are comfortable with autonomy but are also able to function as a contributor to a team
- You enjoy proposing or developing solutions
- Experience delivering and translating information into visual reports
- You are naturally inquisitive and exploratory
Bonus Skills:
- 6+ months of experience as a User Acceptance Tester - Secondment
- ISTQB Certification
- Programming knowledge in SQL, JavaScript, HTML, Python, or CSS
- Automation tools and servers such as Selenium, Jenkins, TeamCity , etc .
