Unity Team Leader

Description

Moon Active is looking for a highly experienced, versatile, and passionate Unity Team Lead to join the Moon Active team and be part of building Zen Match game!

As a Unity Team Lead you will be in charge of building a team of 3-5 Unity developers and creating features for our new game. You’ll be working with agile cross-functional teams (Backend, Tech Art, QA), Architects, DevOps, and Product Owners.

We are looking for a Lead with great collaboration and communication skills, with a strong technical background in Software development and Unity domain. Candidates with various levels of experience are acceptable as we want people who can bring a variety of different things to the team.

Tech Stack: Client: Unity/C#, Client-Server (HTTP/JSON); Backend: Node.js, Redis, AWS, Microservice architecture, CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop and review robust C# code;
• Apply development processes, techniques and methodologies;
• Hire, mentor and challenge a team of Unity engineers;
• Be a part of product development in each phase;
• Investigating issues in production;
• Work with agile cross-functional teams that also include Technical Artists and Backend developers;
• Closely work with Tech Leads, Product, and Project managers.

Requirements

• Experience as a Unity/C# Engineer (4+ years);
• Leadership experience (1+ year) or strong motivation;
• Strong knowledge of C# programming language;
• Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and architectural design patterns;
• Flexibility, excellent collaboration skills, ability to plan the workload;
• Understanding the optimisation of mobile applications;
• Experience working with agile teams.
