Senior Unity Game Programmer

Promineo Studios (Tactile Games subsidiary) is looking for an experienced Unity Programmer to join their Games Team and leave their mark across the whole portfolio of Tactile’s games (old & new). If you have a hard-headed, engineering approach to games and a constant itch to keep improving them, then you might be the perfect fit for this role!

The Games Team at Promineo is in charge of maintaining and updating our 10 Saga games. Besides that, they also have a big contribution to Tactile's narrative game projects, which we're developing at our Copenhagen studio. As a Unity Game Programmer, you would be working both with the Saga games team, and also developing monetization features, implementing component improvements and new technologies for our story-driven game projects. As a senior resource on the team, you will also serve as a mentor to our programmers who have just entered the industry.

Our games are developed using Unity, so we expect all of our programmers to have solid knowledge of game development with Unity and C#. In order to set you up for success, we provide everything you might need (tools and technology), all within our flat and collaborative company culture. At Promineo, you will always have full responsibility and ownership of you projects! You will also have the freedom and flexibility to work in your own way, but sharing knowledge and ideas is highly encouraged.

What you'll be doing in this role:

• Contributing to and maintaining existing game features
• Implementing new technology and component improvements throughout all of our games
• Constantly improving the gaming experience for our end-users
• Creating rigid, performant, optimized and easily usable systems
• Running tests on new code and fixing bugs

What we’re looking for:

• Solid background and experience in game development with Unity3D
• Strong knowledge of the C# language
• Excellent math and dynamic skills
• Good aesthetic know-how
• Solid system and architectural thinking
• Excellent communication skills in English
