This role is a unique opportunity to help bring the popular Payday shooter franchise to mobile for the first time! Regularly in the top 15 games played on Steam, Payday is beloved by millions of people around the world.

What You'll Do:

  • Develop gameplay features and systems for our games -- Payday uses the Unity game engine and C# as our primary development platform.
  • Deploy our games to multiple mobile platforms and supporting our CI toolset.
  • Develop new tools and processes with the Art or Production teams.
  • Optimize our games for speed, quality, and size.
  • Supporting currently published games with updates and fixes.
  • Support the improvement of our development standards, processes, and tools.

You Fit This Role If:

  • You love making games. First and foremost, PopReach is a company developing fun and engaging titles for our players.
  • You write high-quality code and think about the how and why.
  • You enjoy working closely with a group of people with diverse skill sets.

What You Bring:

  • 3+ years working in game development.
  • Experience playing PayDay 2 and other shooter games.
  • A Computer Science degree or equivalent experience.
  • Previously published games (under another company or self published) on the Apple AppStore or Google Play Store.
  • Familiarity with creating Unity shaders.
  • Experience working with agile methodologies.
  • Network/System admin experience.

Job Type : Full-time, Permanent. Please note only candidates with authorization to work in Canada will be considered.
