UX Team Lead (Assassin's Creed Brand)

Job Description
You will be responsible for supporting the UX Director or the Production Manager (PM) in managing the quality and respecting the deadlines for his/her small team.
You will collaborate on the follow-up of the team's work, coach the team members, and validate the production results while keeping a part of the game development under his/her responsibility (if applicable).
Responsabilities
- Create, prioritize, assign and follow up daily on the tasks and progress of the work of his/her team according to the deliverables;
- Act as a representative of his/her team;
- Organize and manage team meetings;
- Be aware of the story and gameplay of the game (game design documents) and master the technical and/or artistic constraints in order to properly guide/coach his/her team;
- Give a periodic report to the Director of the progress of the tasks of his team and propose corrective measures when necessary to meet the objectives set;
- Anticipate and identify potential conflict situations and suggest solutions to the CP/PM in the context of problem solving within his/her team;
- Be the technical and/or conceptual mentor of team members, as needed;
- Participate in performance monitoring in collaboration with the Director/PM;
- Coordinate the correction of bugs related to the work of his team;
- Ensure the integration of new employees in the team;
- Participate in the recruitment of new team members;
- Produce a portion of the game development in his/her field (this portion will vary depending on the size of the team under his/her responsibility);
- Perform all other related tasks.
Qualifications
What you bring to the team
- AEC in a game-oriented field or any other equivalent training. Certificate in project management (asset);
- 3 to 5 years of experience in your field or any other relevant experience;
- Must have participated in at least one full game production or equivalent;
- Ability to work in a team;
- Leadership;
- Ability to manage time and priorities;
- Ability to build and maintain effective teams;
- Demonstrate good interpersonal communication skills;
- Be flexible in the organization of his/her work;
- Be resourceful in finding solutions;
- Ability to manage stress and change;
- Demonstrate managerial courage;
- Knowledge of databases is an asset (JIRA, Perforce, etc.);
- Knowledge of the tools used by the members of his team;
- Knowledge of each of the other professions in game production (asset).
