UX Researcher

Wargaming is looking to hire a UX Researcher for its Minsk development team.
To deliver entertaining, high-quality products, we need precise data that shows the level of gamer engagement and reflects the problems they are experiencing. The mission of the UX Research team is to get data through observation of players and analysis of their in-game behavior. To achieve our goals, we employ a range of methods—from simple interviews to complex studies using sophisticated equipment.
Our team is constantly growing, so we are on the lookout for professionals who have an understanding of usability tests, are not afraid of complicated tasks, are always ready to learn, and have a love of video games.

What will you do?
- Interact with internal customers who order research
- Gather and analyze the data needed for conducting research
- Prepare and execute research that involves users and is aimed at pinpointing problems with gameplay and the interface
- Process and analyze the collected data
- Come up with suggestions on how to improve the product
What are we looking for?
- Good theoretical background in the human-product UX interaction, from psychology to design
- Knowledge of the purpose, peculiarities, and differences of qualitative and quantitative research
- Ability to analyze large amounts of data and draw logical conclusions based on that analysis
- Curiosity and interest in research
- Understanding of software development and testing processes
- Intermediate or higher level of English
What additional skills will help you stand out?
- Experience of working in User Experience or the IT industry in general
- Statistical data processing skills
- Experience of conducting quantitative and qualitative research
- Experience of creating surveys and working with questionnaires
- Knowledge of game design basics
