UX Researcher

Flying Wild Hog, together with Koch Media willing to open a games lab under the Hogs flag. We are looking for a UX Researcher who will work closely with the Game Design teams to organize playtests in Poland. As a UX Researcher, you will be part of Koch Media’s global UX Research team and work on titles from Flying Wild Hog as well as the entire Koch Media and Deep Silver portfolio. Most importantly, your job as a researcher is to help the developers team to understand better what would make a gamer’s experiences feel more intuitive, accessible, fun—and even magical.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting experiments designed to assess players’ experience of a wider range of AAA video games from all genres
- Work closely with different game development teams and editorial teams around the world in order to understand their requirements and questions related to a project
- Design experiments aimed at answering their questions using scientific methods (surveys, interviews, eyetracking)
- Recruit participants, collect data, analyse it, and report the results together with useful visualisations
- Develop and adapt new methods to improve playtesting processes
- Collaborate closely with analytics team members in combining quantitative and qualitative research findings
Requirements:
- University degree (BSc, MSc) in psychology-related or video-games related program (psychology, human computer interface, game design)
- Scientific curiosity and drive to get deep insights into problems
- Experience with conducting experiments and communicating the results
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills
- Very good English&Polish skills (written and spoken).
