Responsabilités:
- Mener un ou plusieurs projets de recherche pour comparer la qualité des jeux de EA en développement et fournir des recommandations aux équipes de jeu pour améliorer l’expérience. La recherche peut également être menée sur les jeux de EA.
- Appuyer tous les aspects de chaque projet, du lancement aux rapports :
- Collaborer avec les recruteurs et les membres de l’équipe des opérations à la planification des horaires des participants à la recherche;
- Élaborer le sondage selon un nouveau cadre d’évaluation de la qualité de jeu;
- Animer les séances de test de jeu avec les participants pour recueillir les données;
- Analyser les données et créer un rapport à présenter à l’équipe de jeu ainsi qu’à l’équipe de recherche UX.
Compétences:
- En voie d’obtenir un baccalauréat ou une maîtrise; cours pertinents : psychologie expérimentale, interaction personne-machine, statistiques, analyse de marché ou anthropologie
- Maîtrise de Microsoft Excel et PowerPoint
- Compétences en statistiques inférentielles de base (p. ex., test d’hypothèse)
- Expérience avec les éléments suivants un atout :
- Plateformes de sondage (p. ex., Qualtrics, SurveyMonkey)
- Logiciel d’analyse statistique (p. ex., SPSS, R, MATLAB)
- Capacité de s’exprimer et de poser des questions
- Personnalité entreprenante, passion et énergie
- Volonté de mettre les données à l’épreuve, mais capacité d’avoir une vue d’ensemble
- Flexibilité de travailler à de multiples projets
- Intérêt envers les jeux vidéo
- La maîtrise du français n'est pas obligatoire mais un atout important

Responsibilities:
- You will conduct one or more research projects to benchmark the quality of EA games in development and provide recommendations to game teams on how to improve the experience. Research may also be conducted on EA games
- You will support all aspects of each project from project kick-off to reporting
- You will work with recruiters and operations team members to schedule research participants
- You will craft the survey based on a new framework for evaluating game quality
- You will moderate the play-test sessions with participants to collect data
- You will analyze the data and create a report to present to the game team as well as the UX Research team
Qualifications:
- Candidate for a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree; relevant courses include experimental psychology, human-computer interaction, statistics, market research or anthropology
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Proficiency in basic inferential statistics (e.g., significance testing)
- Experience with the following are a plus:
- Survey platforms (e.g., Qualtrics, SurveyMonkey)
- Statistical analysis software (e.g., SPSS, R, MATLAB)
- Not afraid to speak out and ask questions
- Self-starter with passion and energy
- Not afraid to get hands dirty with data, but also see the bigger picture
- Flexibility to work on multiple projects
- Interest in video games
- The ability to speak French is not mandatory but a strong asset
