We at SIE take pride in delivering experiences that delight our users. The UX research team is responsible for conducting research at all stages of product development for our platform. The research we do involves getting user ideas and feedback on how we can continue to make the UX of PlayStation better for our users - we do this by utilizing a wide variety of research methods, both quantitative and qualitative, and use the findings to help inform product strategy and direction.
Responsibilities
Support research studies with study prep, note taking, some moderation and analysis
Occasionally, lead usability tests and other small size projects
Support UXR operations (e.g. set up lab, schedule and screen participants, prepare testing materials)
Coordinate with vendors on outsourced projects
Be willing to develop proficiency in core UXR skills and learn how to build successful relationships with stakeholders and vendors
Qualifications
Projected to graduate in 2024
Pursuing a BA/BS degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Human Factors, Social Sciences, UX Design, related field or equivalent experience
Some UX Research or related experience
Willing to learn and work with others within and outside of the organization
Open to supporting stakeholders that operate in a complex product environment
Strong communication skills
Ability and willingness to learn and grow
