UX Designer (intern)

As such, Wargaming Prague offers a range of opportunities for talented individuals to complete a unique, first-class internship within Wargaming Forge project at a large international game development studio. Learn on the job from top-notch experts while gaining hands-on experience and taking the first step of your game development career.

As a UX Design Intern, you’ll take part in crafting amazing projects for future implementation. In addition to shaping the user experience of major games, you’ll have the opportunity to collaborate with other interns from various disciplines. Since players’ impressions are shaped by their user experience, you’ll know you’ve done well if players keep coming back to the game for more.

This paid, part-time (20 hrs/wk) internship lasts up to 6 months from July 18, 2022 to January 18, 2023. Preference will be given to candidates who are eligible to work in the Czech Republic (EU nationals and individuals holding a valid work/study visa).

What will you learn?

• How to design a video game interface
• Communication with stakeholders like game designers, systems designers, developers, artists, and more
• Design interfaces and resolve interface problems
• Standard game development pipeline
• Requirements analysis and preparation

Who is your mentor?

Vladislav Shestakov (Senior UX Designer)

10 year experience as an interface designer in game development field. He has both experience working for the full cycle of interface development in a small team, with constraints and under pressure, and in big companies with complex processes and limitless resources.

• Working proficiency of English
• Independent self-starter
• Ready and eager to work 20 hours per week from the office
• Video game lover

What additional skills will help you stand out?

• Basic knowledge of any graphics editor and/or prototyping tool
