Nimble Giant is looking for a fully remote UX Designer for a new Sports/Strategy Live game for PC and Consoles

As a member of our team, you will be an advocate for Usability and Accessibility. You will be working side by side with the Art Director and the Lead Game Designer to help outline, define, prototype and implement UX designs that generate an excellent game experience for our players, while also collaborating with other designers, developers and UI artists throughout their implementation to see them through to the final product.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Design team from the ideation phase, contributing to the Design vision and providing early UX layouts to prove game concepts.
- Own the Functional Identity of the user interface for our games.
- Design the layout and flow of the game’s user interfaces, from HUDs to Menus.
- Work iteratively and in close collaboration with other team members in order to tweak, modify or rework your designs as needed.
- Create wireframes and interactive prototypes to test your designs and iterate quickly.
- Generate clear documentation and support materials to allow other developers to seamlessly implement your designs.
- Collaborate with other developers to implement these features.
- Monitor how users experience the designs implemented in the game and validate their quality and effectiveness.
- Stay up to date with user experience and usability paradigms and trends in the industry.
- Help other team members to better understand your discipline and your designs.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a professional UX Designer.
- Experience with Prototyping / Wireframe tools (Figma, AdobeXD, Balsamiq, etc.).
- Excellent communication, documentation and diagramming skills.
- Ability to work iteratively and adapt to changes.
- Discipline to self-manage and self-evaluate.
- Soft Skills to manage and evaluate others.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
Desirable Perks
- Experience in driving playtesting sessions and focus groups.
- Experience with live games and metric-driven design.
- Experience with iterative design and rapid prototyping.
- Previous Game Design Experience.
- Background in Fine Arts or Graphic Design.
- Fluent in Spanish.
