UK Sales Intern (Placement Year 2020-2021)

Job Title: Sales Intern
Department: Take-Two
Reports to: Senior Account Manager
Location: Windsor/London, UK
Role Purpose
As a sales intern, you will collaborate with and fully support the Sales, Trade Marketing, Sales Operations and Planning teams. You will have administrative duties providing insightful contribution which will help develop, maintain and expand the sales strategy for T2 games.
This internship will help you acquire business skills and provide you with knowledge of various sales strategies. Ultimately, you will gain broad experience in sales and be prepared to enter a fast-paced work environment in media sales.
Please be aware that we are excited to be moving from Windsor to brand new offices in Central London towards the end of next year! Please do therefore only proceed with an application if you would be happy to commute to Central London once we have relocated.
Responsibilities and opportunities:
UK Sales
- Understand existing customer base working with your line manager and attending customer meetings
- Assist with the weekly forecasting process
- Develop a good understanding of systems including JDE/OBI & Anaplan
- Prepare data for weekly calls
- Update stock in channel for weekly sales reports
- Monitor and update market pricing on a weekly basis
Trade Marketing
- Collate trade activity reports and product activity summaries on a monthly basis
- Attend and support at merchandiser training days
- Monitor and archive press
- Maintain and run pre-order reports
- Conduct marketing asset audits
Sales Operations
- Process sales orders and liaise with third parties to organise shipping
- Collate stock and sales reports from system (Fancensus), chase missing reports from retailers
- Assist with stock takes
- Distribute software and hardware reports on a weekly basis
- Assist with forecasting and reporting
Corporate Planning
- Help collate internal planning docs of our upcoming releases to gather important product information across departments
- Circulate upcoming release lists to increase visibility of upcoming competitor titles
- Help with pricing analysis across the European markets – for both T2 and competitor titles
Skills and Experience
- Business student or studying a similar degree with a passion for media sales
- Self Motivated, organised and driven
- Keen to understand the video games market
- Confident to work with existing external partners and ask questions to support individual learning
- An interest or passion for gaming would be great but not essential
