Trailmix is an ambitious start-up with an incredibly diverse and talented team who loves to make top-notch games. Our brand new casual game ‘Love & Pies’ has recently launched. After securing big funds from Supercell, we want to grow our game to be a mega hit.
We're looking for an UI/UX designer to join our team. This is a role for someone with strong ambition who has the wish to push the boundaries of a team’s vision and shape it into something great.
You’ll collaborate with designers, artists and programmers to lead the visual experience our users will have over new features of our game, constantly analysing and improving this experience over the lifespan of the product. You’ll be responsible for presenting ideas and flows to multiple stakeholders, be ready to assess feedback and come up with roadmaps for and take the lead on implementation of user interface assets.
This is an opportunity to be an army-of-one when it comes to UX/UI design, while at the same time having at your fingers the ability to collaborate with great people of all other disciplines to create the best possible experience for our players.
Responsibilities:
- Work together with feature designers on establishing a holistic visual user experience of features through screenflows, wireframes and mockups from conception to delivery- Be proactive on seeking feedback and iterating on feature flows and mockups
- Collaborate with the product team on playtests and KPI assessment to improve the live version of the game and tackle user experience needs. Keep up-to-date with trends in the industry
- Understand and be able to implement and animate UI assets on Unity. Have good knowledge of Unity UI frameworks and components
- Work together with devs on creating components/frameworks to assist with UI needs for features
Requirements:
- Proven experience with UX/UI design
- Have proficiency with Adobe Photoshop
- Shipped a mobile game using Unity and have prior experience with Unity UI frameworks
- In-depth knowledge of mobile user ergonomics
- Good graphic design skills and a keen eye for visual details
- Super communication skills & confidence in approaching teammates for feedback and assistance
