UI/UX Artist

Job Description

As a UI/UX Artist at Ubi Abu Dhabi, you’ll build the visuals that smoothly guide players as they navigate a game, breaking down any barriers that stand between them. The UI/UX Artist will be responsible for designing, prototyping, creation, and implementation of the graphic elements of a Mobile videogame interface and the menu on an exciting midcore mobile title.

What you’ll do:

• Create interface assets (menus, animation, HUD, icons, buttons, etc.) + build wireframes and mockups. This includes typography, layout, and composition, utilising 3D and animation to drive realization interface features
• Work together with the Design team to shape UI and menu according to the gameplay needs and art direction
• Follow design documentation to translate high-level gameplay ideas into functional UI designs
• Find balance between artistic aspects and technical constraints.
• Integrate your assets using our tools and engines
• Develop and refine your work based on feedback from collaborative teams (debug and optimize).
• Assure that game information is well conveyed through the various user interfaces
• Keep control of assets production, respecting technical constraints and optimization guidelines

What you’ll bring:

• At least 3 years of experience in visual design or related experience
• Previous experience as a User Interface Artist for at least 1 mobile game
• Proficiency in Adobe XD, After Effect, Photoshop, Illustrator or other visual design tools
• Good Artistic skills (proportion, composition, color)
• Experience with Unity 3D
• A highly creative, collaborative, and innovative spirit
• Excellent English
